Well Salesforce Lightning is awesome, it’s come a long way since being released in 2015. Major benefits of Salesforce Lightning include a more modern and efficient user experience as well as further ability for customizations, automation and third-party integration. As of January 2020, all Salesforce Orgs were switched to lightning. Most importantly, all new upcoming features such as AI, Dynamic Page Layouts and Project Cloud will be Lightning exclusive.
